Stop keeping Him to yourself

Psalm 71:17 says O God, You have taught me from my youth. And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.

I think do we really? Do we really declare God's wonderful works? I mean every time I go out to the mall, the movies, or just walking downtown. I don't see anyone Preaching God's Word,, and I definitely don't see anyone declaring His wondrous works. When I'm at church on Sunday's I spend a lot of time thinking about the people who are raising there hands and praising Jesus and calling His name. Now I don't doubt there love and the truth in what there doing. I just wonder How many of them take Jesus out the doors with them when they leave? How many people actually talk about God outside of Saturday,Sunday, or weds. church? I mean have you had anyone come up to you lately declaring Jesus Love?I had a friend one time tell me I was the only person he knew that ever talked about God, and he knows a lot of people. So his only contact with God was me, I wasn't doing anything big I just talked about God and all the wonderful blessings He's bestowed on me. OK now imagine if me who is a Christian never told my friend about God and Jesus and my friend dies? Now I had the gift of all gifts to give him but I just decided to keep Jesus to myself inside the walls of the church and now my friends in Hell.. What kind of friend am I? So when your just sitting around with someone shooting the breeze, maybe next time you can remember to Declare God's wondrous works and keep someone you love from Burning in Hell for all eternity. So go out and tell someone about the GLORY OF GOD. and stop keeping HIM to yourself..

Whatever may come?

What can you do when a situation seems to get worse?
You can improve, you can learn, you can grow.
Life will throw many challenges at you.
And you can always respond in a positive, effective way.
You can't control what is said to you.
But you can control what your response back is.
It should always be a Godly response, what would Jesus say?
It is wise to plan for the future and to prepare as much as you can.
Yet there is no need to worry about the future.
Because no matter what it brings, you will find an answer for it.
Whatever events may transpire, you can always have a Godly attitude.
It may indeed be very difficult and hard to handle,
but you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
And in making it through that difficulty
You have opportunity to find great fulfillment and success.
So Dream big dreams that resonate perfectly with who you are,
and know that you will reach them.
For whatever may come, you can make it work for you.

The Master Technician

Tech·ni·cian - a person who is trained or skilled in the technicalities of a subject.

So I was thinking this morning, if our brains work like a computer, how should we go about fixing the problems we face each day? Well when your computer messes up you take it to a technician so they can fix whatever is going on with the computer at that time. So when we have questions with our computer system(our brain), and its not working correctly because of a over whelming feeling that your feeling? What should you do? Well I would have to say we take our problems to the only one that can fix us, the master technician. God created us, He knows more about us then we could ever imagine. Read Psalm 139
Isaiah 55:8-9 says For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher then the earth, So are my ways higher then your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. So the most difficult thing that we can't figure out is simple for God, we just have to give it to Him and give Him control of it. There are always going to be things you face and go through that are going to be hard, but you don't have to face them alone.
So let the one who created your mainframe be the one you go to with every glitch you may have.

Why do we need Jesus?

Most people have been to church at least once or heard some one talk about Jesus, but I think most people have no idea who He is or why He had to come to the world. A lot of churches these days are sugar coating the message teaching all the upbeat parts of the bible but forget to teach why Jesus had to come in the first place? Why do we need a savior, what do we need saving from? Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Lets look at that (for All have sinned), so you may ask yourself what is sin? Sin is unrighteousness,(Read next blog for more info about SIN) we cannot stand before a righteous God and be covered in sin.
So Jesus had to come and be the final sacrifice for our sins, so we could one day stand before a righteous God. 2 Corinthians 5:10 says For we must ALL appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body (while we were here on earth) according to what they have done, whether good or bad. So one day everyone will have to give account of His life in front of Almighty God. We cannot make it into heaven if we are covered in sin. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says For He (God) made Him(Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. So when Jesus died on the cross he died in place of us and took all of our sins. Past,present, and future and bore all of them. Just imagine it! He took every one of our sins how painful that must have been. Jesus was perfect and took all of it on Himself in place of us, to save us from going to hell because of our sin. John 3:16 says For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. So If you understand now that you are a sinner ask for forgiveness and repent(turn away from your sin) . Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. Now once you've asked for forgiveness its not an easy path but its the right path a path of truth. John 14:6 Jesus said to him (Thomas) ''I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE comes to the father except through me. Matthew 7:14 says Because NARROW is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it. The only reason there will be few who find it is because people are stubborn and selfish and think that by following God they will have to give up stuff they don't want to give up and they don't want any one or anything to control them. Galatians 6:7 says Do not be deceived: God is not mocked for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. So just know you can live life however you want to, in the service of yourself or in the service of God but one day we will all have to give account of how we have lived. Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. I found this verse this morning and it think it really sums up everything very well 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins; He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.

Prayer

How to pray? You must open up your heart completely. You don't need a priest or a pastor to confess to. You don't need fancy words, or to be a scholar. All you need is your honesty and your words. Tell God what's bothering you about the world, about yourself, what hurts you, your fears. Let Him know how amazing He is or if you don't believe in Him yet, for Him to show His true self to you. Here's my prayer (Example)

Dear God, please forgive me of all my sins, teach me oh Lord to talk to people about you and not just sit at home and watch TV all day. I know I need to go out and talk to everyone about you. I'm not afraid to talk to people I just need your strength. Please Lord help me be a good father and husband. Show me how to love them with all that I am, teach me Lord to love my enemies. Thank you Father God for being such an amazing God, the only true God, who knows me so well. Thank you for providing for me and always knowing what's best for me. Thank you so much Lord for everything you've done in my life, in Jesus name I pray Amen.


I mean there's no secret formula, just honesty. God wants you to pray to Him about everything that's going on in your life. He wants you to share with Him everything, to be included in every choice you make, and to be the ultimate resource for you. So turn to Him with your prayer and let Him know whats going on in your life right now. Prayer is the key to true success. Read how Jesus taught His disciples how to pray in MATTHEW 6:9-13

Walk by faith not by sight

What is faith? The Bible says it is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Hebrews 11:1. Now what does that mean? Well its believing in something with everything you are and knowing its going to happen, there is no doubt. The kind of faith that can move mountains.
Hebrews 11:6 says But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I think this is something that we are missing in today's society we have lost faith that God will provide for us. We rely on ourselves and our credit cards more than we rely on the power of God who created the universe. We take things into our own hands, which is in turn taking the glory away from God, and I believe that's why we are seeing less and less miracles. We're not letting God do what He does best, take care of us, provide for us and love us. Matthew 7: 7-8 says ask and it will be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." James 1:6-8 puts it this way, but let him ask in faith with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not a man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Without faith we are lost, so many of us think we live by faith but still trust in ourselves more than God. It is time to stop being double-minded and start standing firm in our faith. I just want to let you know that I have put my faith in many of people and been let down, but I have never been let down by putting my faith entirely in God. So let go of your worries, troubles, fears, and give them to God and believe with every ounce of your being He is faithful, all you have to do is have faith in Him. No more doubting.... Why Have this Blog?

I realized I'm tired of being a hearer of the Word and not a doer. So I thought why not start my own Internet ministry. As Christians we're all responsible for fulfilling the great commission. Which is (Matthew 28: 19-20) Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to do all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
So with this ministry I am going to give you all my deepest revelations and anything else God has given me the insight to. Everything you might need to fight the good fight. I will explain everything I can to help you grow closer to God. One thing I can tell you with all truthfulness Is God is, and His Son is Jesus Christ, and He is the Way, Truth and the Life. I've seen a lot, lived through a lot, and been around long enough to know truth and to know what is and what isn't. So in short my main goal is to give you the ability to understand God's word (the Bible), Its truths, and apply them to your life. So you can become an effective worker for Christ and be a doer of the word and not a hearer only. Speak Up

We are but useless tools if we sit in the tool shed and never get used in the garden.

We can open our mouths with praise to our King but if we never whisper one word to another creature, what good is that praise?

If the only one speaking out loud (witnessing) about Jesus is our pastors we are all doomed and have failed to understand one single word or our true calling.

How can ‘’ The Word” be spread to the entire world if God’s people don’t open their mouths to those waiting to know what we know?

How is it you do not know this, do we not read the same words? Are they not clear?

How can you call yourself a Christian, oh wicked man?

Did you not come to be redeemed and did you not seek repentance?

For you are now a new creation, do you not want the same for your brother?

Then why do you keep what is not yours hidden inside you?
